AscendEX will launch perpetual futures contracts for DOGEUSDT and XRPUSDT at Apr 26 2:00 p.m. UTC on Web, App and API. The DOGEUSDT and XRPUSDT perpetual futures contracts will be denominated and settled in USDT with up to 50x and 100x leverage, respectively.
AscendEX accepts XRP as one of the multi-collateral assets for Perpetual Futures Contract. You can deposit XRP in your futures account to be used as collateral when trading USDT-margined Futures, besides USDT, USDC, PAX, BTC, ETH, LINK, BCH and DOT.
XRP is discounted when used as collateral with the discount factor of 0.9, in other words, a haircut of 10% will be applied. For example, if XRP prices at 1 USDT, a user deposits 1 XRP in his/her Futures account and only 0.9 USDT worth of XRP (1 USDT * 0.9) will be used as collateral for calculation of initial margin rate and maintenance margin rate.
