To further enhance platform security, BitMax.io will implement account freeze function at 10:00 a.m. EST, Dec 5th, 2019. For any suspicious activity noted by users, they can quickly freeze their account through this function to avoid potential losses.
What is Account Freeze Function?
Account freeze can only be initiated by the account holder. Upon request, the account will be frozen immediately with the following account activities suspended: login, trading, withdrawal etc.
With users’ successful request to unfreeze the account, all the functions will be resumed.
How to Freeze an Account
1. Users can go to [Account] -> [Account Security] -> [Freeze Account] to access the account freeze page. With the instruction, users can freeze the account immediately.
2. Users can also click ‘Freeze My Account’ in the BitMax.io emails to access the account freeze page. With the instruction, users can freeze the account immediately.
How to Unfreeze an Account
To unfreeze the account, users can send email to firstname.lastname@example.org with “Unfreeze My Account” as the subject line or contact customer support.
